Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show 2026: Stay in Pensacola

Discover the best places to stay in Pensacola during the Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show on November 6–7, 2026. Pensacola’s biggest event of the year is almost here. The NAS Pensacola Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show returns November 6–7, 2026, drawing an estimated 300,000 spectators to watch the Navy’s own Flight Demonstration Squadron perform over their home base. If you’re planning to attend, book your Pensacola vacation rental now — rooms and rental homes near NAS Pensacola sell out well ahead of show weekend.

What to Expect

The Homecoming Air Show takes place at Sherman Field on Naval Air Station Pensacola, with gates opening at 8:00 a.m. both Friday and Saturday and aerial performances beginning at 9:30 a.m. The Blue Angels themselves take to the skies around 2:00 p.m. each day, following a lineup of aerobatic performers. General admission and parking are free, with optional Box Seating available for guests who want a reserved spot along the flightline.

Beyond the flying, visitors can explore Aviation Marvels along the flight line, check out hands-on S.T.E.A.M. activities, and visit the National Naval Aviation Museum, home to more than 150 restored aircraft. A REAL ID-compliant form of identification is required for base access, so plan ahead. Average November temperatures hover around 63 degrees, so layers are a good idea for a full day on the tarmac.

Why Booking a Rental Beats a Hotel

With hundreds of thousands of visitors converging on Pensacola for one weekend, hotel rooms near the base disappear fast and prices climb right alongside demand. A vacation rental gives your group more space, a kitchen for easy mornings before an early gate time, and often better value than a comparable hotel room — especially useful for families or groups traveling together for the show.
